I've grouped similar Trades careers together to make exploring the careers more exciting and easier to explore. This way, you can find careers that you may have never heard about but is similar to other careers that you do know about and interest you.
- Automotive Working on the engines, bodies and electrical systems of cars, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and farm equipment.
- Interior and Exterior Construction If you enjoy making things look nice then this is the trade for you. Everything from installing glass and drywall to cabinet making and brick laying are involved in making the finished product look as good as it can.
- Structural Construction Building things to last by setting up the proper foundations is what these trades are about. As someone involved in structural constructions you can choose to work on erecting walls, installing electrical wiring, welding, pipefitting, or installing insulation.
- Energy Production Get involved in producing the energy needed to keep your lights on and your equipment and toys running. Begin involved in energy production allows you to work on producing something that every one needs and involves the extraction and processing of raw materials.
- Electrical Equipment Get involved! Working on electric motors, communication systems and power lines are all part of working with electrical equipment. These things are already a part or your lives and now you have the opportunity to work directly with them.
- Equipment Maintenance Figuring out how things work and repairing them when they are broken is a very useful skill to have. You can become a locksmith, a parts technician, a power engineer or a heavy equipment technician. The choice is yours!
- Equipment Manufacturing Ever wonder where all those parts and tools that you use and play with every day come from? They come from millwrights and machinists who design, create and maintain the necessary parts to get the job done.
- Equipment Operators Equipment operators are those lucky people who get to be at the controls of a crane and move objects to heavy or large to do by hand. As a crane operator you will be helping ease the workload of your fellow workers.
- Food Services Do you love to prepare and cook food that really tasted good? Then this is the trade for you! As a cook or baker you will learn the secrets behind how to properly store, combine and create foods that will impress all your friends and family.
- Hairstylist Get involved with making people look and feel their best on a day to day basis. As a Hairstylist you will have the ability to change the way people look and feel about themselves.
